Come Over To My House BOM 2009 Block 11 - More Trees!
Share a Photo of your Block | View Block 11 PhotosThis month, we'll finish up the landscaping in our scrappy neighborhood by adding some evergreen trees. (Evergreen is the opposite of "deciduous".) Evergreens are trees like pines, bluce spruce and firs - green year round.

If you want a realistic look to your trees, you'll need green and blue green scraps, your background color and brown for trunks.I designed these trees to be made using templates, so in addition to the block pattern, there are two files of templates, one for the triangle-shaped trees and one for the three-tiered trees.
Here is the downloadable pdf pattern and templates for block 11:

Please do not photocopy or email the PDF files to a friend. I want to you share my BOM pattern with any one who wants it, but please direct them to this web page and they can join right in. Each block is available for free for 2 months. Blocks 1-9 are no longer available for free downloading, but if you missed out on any of those blocks, you can purchase them for a $1 each on my pattern page (scroll down). When you've finished piecing your trees, don't forget to share a photo. Here is the form to submit your photos Check the bottom of this page to see other quilters' block 11 photos. Here are my trees, which refused to lay flat when I was photographing them.
