Quilter, Wife, Mommy, Artist, Business Woman
I’m Joanna Norman and I’ve been quilting for over 10 years. Quilting is such a great metaphor for life. There are all these different parts to life and often I don’t know how they are all going to fit together, but so far, the end result has been beautiful – just like a quilt.
I’m on a new personal journey in my life. I'm working to transform as many aspects of my life as I can to align with my core values. My values include things like freedom, balance, creativity, acknowledgment, family and preserving the earth. Since I spend much of my time quilting, taking on the challenge of quilting greener was a natural next step on my journey through life. I am lucky to live in
Civano
- a new-urbanist, green community in Tucson, Arizona. My family consists of my husband of 13 years, our two young daughters, our senior citizen yellow labrador retriever and assorted fish and hamsters.
I design and create custom-made memory quilts, baby quilts and quilted Judaica. I would be happy to provide you with more information about my quilting business so that you can give a very special gift to remember an important life event. Please
contact me
if you are interested. I also have few items which are already made in
my Etsy Shop.
I hope that Forever Green Quilts is inspiring to you and that you will consider going green with your quilting too.
