Eco-Friendly Quilt Patterns

All of the patterns we sell are designed to be earth-friendly in two ways: they can be made primarily with fabric scraps or upcycled clothing; and we send them to you as PDFs by email, saving transportation energy and packaging for shipping.

Plaids and Pants: A Scrappy Flannel Quilt

A great pattern for a guy quilt, this soft, cozy can be made with old flannel shirts, jeans, and corduroy pants or you could get a completely different look using assortment of bright prints. The finished quilt is lap size, measuring 50" x 60". This is an easy quilt to make and is fun for beginning and experience quilters alike.

If you are looking for a T shirt quilt pattern, this will work very well. Just replace the solid fabric blocks with blocks cut from your favorite T shirts. You could also use this pattern to make a nice memory quilt out of clothing.
