Each year me and my two sisters get together for our annual sisters' weekend. We geocache, quilt, and laugh alot. I made this quilt top with fabric donated by a LQS and my sisters and I tied it during one of our sisters' weekends. We then donated it to Hurricane Katrina victims.

That same sisters' weekend, we all selected some wonderful fall fabrics to make into table runners. This is mine.

During this time there were a lot of new Asian fabric lines coming out and I did a fabric exchange with some other mom's of Chinese born children. Here is the quilt I made with those fabrics.

Guess what? Time for more baby quilts. Here are two quilts that I made for two baby boys.

Since I did think I'd be making as many baby quilts anymore, I decided to make a quilt for my niece's Bat Mitzvah. At the time, I didn't think about the fact that I have 9 nieces and nephews. I see many more B'Mitzvah quilts in my future. This is my niece's quilt. It incorporated her favorite colors and photos (printed on fabric) of her best friend, her dog BABs.

Here is another 1st Saturday sampler quilt made with my LQS. I loved this sampler quilt so much because of the way all of the different blocks came together to make this picture. I called it "Home Sweet Home" and it now belongs to my younger daughter.

At the same time I was doing the Home Sweet Home sampler, I also did a free online BOM from Debbie Mumm. I made this in my older daughter's favorite colors - blue, pink, and purple. I was very happy with how it turned out.

Just when I thought I was done making baby quilts - a friend got pregnant with her baby girl. Well, Baby V had to have a quilt. Here it is.

As you can see, this was a very productive time for me, quilting-wise. I finally finished a project I'd been working on for several years. I had made this applique sampler quilt, but never finished it. I finally decided to hand quilt it. It now hangs in our living room and makes me feel happy every time I look at it.

I got ambitious in 2007 and decided to make quilts for both of my sister's for the holidays. I made a carpenter's star quilt in reds and greens for my younger sister. For my older sister I made a reindeer quilt. They loved their presents!

This is a game quilt I made for my family early this year. We take it with us on picnics and to the park and can play 5 different board games on it.
